We started this business as a mission in 2004 and the business has grown each year.  My
daughter who was very active in this business has moved out of town and I have a new job
that is more demanding with frequent travel to Denver. We have always taken pride in our
service and responsiveness, but these changes are limiting our ability to maintain the high
standards we have set. With start-up costs paid, we are able to donate more, so closing the
business is not something we want to do. We also realize that many of you depend on us
and we do not want to let you down.  

Therefore we have decided the best way to do this is to re-set expectations and make
changes to enable us to focus on our current and loyal customers.  It is with anxiety that we
do this, but we realize that changes must be made. We hope that you will stick with us
through this transition. We have many customers today that never use the shopping cart,
who call or email their orders to us, and pay via check. We hope you will find it as easy as
they do!  

Closing the shopping cart portion of our website, effective January 1, 200
9 means that:

1. You will place your order one of three ways:
   a. Phone (which goes with me to Denver as well). Just indicate the products you would
    
   like and any questions you may have.
   b. Our contact form
   c.  email
2. We will provide you with a total via email or return your call, per your preference. We will
never ship if there has been a price increase that you are unaware of.
3. We will accept payment via check. For our current customers we will ship your order as
soon as possible, expecting your check to arrive to us as you are receiving your order
or shortly thereafter (mailing address below).
4. For new customers, we will ship once your check arrives, or take a credit card but only
use it as a last resort if your check does not arrive as promised.
5. Your order will ship within 1 business day as long as the product is in stock, unless I am
out of town. So, please order early giving us up to two weeks to ship if this is the best we
can do.

For those of you that order routinely, consider our
auto-delivery option. You can change
your order or the frequency of the order at any time and the discount is greater as we can
better plan for the needs.

We apologize for the changes, but believe by being up front with you and making these
changes we can better meet your expectations. We hope you will remain a loyal member of
our community and enjoy helping others with us for another year.  For those new to
HealthyGiving, welcome!  Our customers are some of the best people on the planet, so you
will be joining a community of wonderful people.
